About this site

The site that shows the receipt

True Cost Funding exists because of one recurring conversation: a business owner signs for fast funding, sees the daily withdrawals hit, does the math for the first time — afterward — and says some version of "nobody showed me that number."

We show the number first. Free calculator, plain-English guides, and a straight answer about which kinds of funding fit which situations — including "wait 60 days and you'll qualify for something half the price," which no one paid to say.

Who runs it

True Cost Funding is built and edited by Marco Hernandez, a California-based founder working in small-business finance. Everything published here follows one editorial rule: if we wouldn't show the math to a family member signing the contract, we don't publish it.

How we make money (the part most sites bury)

Some links on this site go to funding providers and business-software companies. If you apply or sign up through those links, the provider may pay us a referral fee. Three things about that, stated plainly:

The verdict
  • It never changes your price. Referral fees come out of the provider's marketing budget, not your offer.
  • It never changes the math. The calculator and the cost tables say the same thing about providers who pay us and providers who don't.
  • No provider reviews our content before publication. Nobody buys a rating here.

What we are not

The verdict

We are not a lender and not a loan broker. We don't take applications for credit, make credit decisions, negotiate terms, or charge you anything. When you use the options check, we may share the information you submit with matched providers (with your consent, as described on the form and in our privacy policy) — those providers make their own decisions on their own terms.

Nothing here is financial, legal, or tax advice. It's the math and the plain meaning of common terms, published so you can decide with the whole picture. For advice about your specific situation, talk to a licensed professional who has seen your numbers.
