By using truecostfunding.com you agree to these terms. The short version: this is a free education site; use it as information, not as advice; your funding decisions and contracts are between you and your providers.
1. What this site is — and isn't
True Cost Funding provides educational content, calculators, and referrals related to small-business funding. We are not a lender, loan broker, credit services organization, financial advisor, law firm, or accounting firm. We do not take applications for credit, make credit decisions, negotiate terms, or charge users fees. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, or tax advice, and nothing is an offer or solicitation of credit.
2. Calculators and estimates
Calculator outputs are estimates based solely on the numbers you enter and stated assumptions. Actual products differ in fees, schedules, and terms. The disclosures in your own contract control. Verify every number with your provider before signing anything.
3. Referrals and compensation
Some links lead to third-party funding providers or software companies. If you apply or purchase through those links, we may receive a referral fee at no cost to you. Providers are independent companies: their decisions, terms, products, and conduct are their own, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and them.
4. Your submissions
Information you submit through forms must be accurate and yours to share. Our handling of it is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
5. Intellectual property
Content on this site belongs to True Cost Funding. You may link to it and quote briefly with attribution; you may not republish substantial portions or use the content to train competing commercial products without permission.
6. No warranties; limitation of liability
The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We work to keep content current and accurate, but costs, terms, laws, and programs change. To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Cost Funding is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the site's content or for the acts of third-party providers. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
