This site should work for everyone — with a keyboard, with a screen reader, on a phone, in bright sun, in a hurry. That's the goal, and here is how we work toward it.
Our target
We build to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines), and we've adopted the newer WCAG 2.2 AA criteria — like bigger touch targets and focus that never hides — where they apply. We don't claim the site is perfect; we claim we test it and fix what we find.
How we test
- Automated checks (Lighthouse and axe-style scans) on every page when it changes.
- A keyboard-only walkthrough of everything interactive — the calculator, the options form, every menu and link.
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA for every text and background pair we use.
- Reduced-motion settings are honored: animations switch off if your device asks.
What we deliberately avoid
We don't use accessibility overlay widgets. They don't make sites compliant, and they often make them harder to use with real assistive technology. We fix the pages themselves instead.
Known limitations
None we're aware of right now. If you find one, that's a bug — please tell us.
Found a problem?
Email hello@truecostfunding.com with the page and what went wrong. A person reads it, and fixes ship fast.
